Carcass Price Calculator
The carcass
price calculator is a Quattro Pro 8 spreadsheet designed to help pork producers
understand how carcass prices are calculated by 10 of the largest processors.
The carcass pricing programs were available during the first of 1999. Processors
may change their program at any time, so the information presented may not
match current carcass price programs offered by the processors. The authors
present this program as an educational tool only. The authors request notification
of any users modifying the program for commercial purposes or applications
other than personal use.
Users need to be aware that the current version of the program is a test version only.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Place the file below in the folder of your choice. Then,
go to the "Run" command located in the "Start" menu on your PC's screen.
After the Run window has appeared, choose "Browse" to select the ".exe"
file, then select "OK". This should expand the file.
