Corn Market Situation.
After a couple of short winded rallies based upon early season weather frights, December corn futures have resumed their long downtrend. Prices gapped down to the low $2.20 area during the last week of June. We are at the July 4th time frame where prices often make a seasonal change. Given the ample moisture and generally good crop conditions, it appears the price change to be seen this year is downward. It is possible for prices to rally late in the year but the odds are long.
